The departure takes place every year on the Sunday following Pentecost.
The Corpus Christi procession will take place on May 26 at around 10:00 a.m. from the main parish church, after the celebration of the Eucharist. The boys and girls who have made their first communion in recent weeks will participate. The Body of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament travels from the main church through the most central streets of the town on a green carpet made of rushes and rosemary. It is a very colorful procession, where, in addition to the monstrance, the Child of the Bell, Saint Angela of the Cross, and the Virgin of the Rosary also take part in the procession.
